Carlstadt, N.J. - Cedar Stars Rush is excited to announce the return of Michael Custidiano to the technical staff for the upcoming 2021 USL League Two season. Coach Custidiano will specifically serve as the Strength and Conditioning coach during the summer.
“After the experience I had in 2019, it was an easy decision to return as the Strength and Conditioning Coach and help our athletes achieve peak performance,” said Coach Custidiano.
Coach Custidiano brings extensive experience to the staff, as he works with CSA as the Head of Sports Performance and holds numerous athletic training licenses and degrees. In addition to a degree in Global Fitness and Wellness/Physical Education, Coach Custidiano has also achieved a Level 1 FST certification and a USSF C license.
“With my focus in strength and conditioning, I want to prioritize our athletes’ fitness and hope to limit the amount of and severity of injuries within the team,” explained Custidiano. “If am able to accomplish this, I believe that we will be on our way to a successful season.”
Prior to his coaching tenure with CSA Bergen, Coach Custidiano played multiple years at the youth, collegiate, and semi-professional levels. After his youth career, Custidiano gained a reputation with a four-year career with Kean University and culminated with captaincy his senior year. Following school, Custidiano competed with Icon FC of the ASL.
