Coach Patrick Joins CSR Technical Staff From CSA Newark

Carlstadt, N.J. - Cedar Stars Rush is thrilled to introduce Kieran Patrick as an Assistant Coach for this upcoming 2021 USL League Two season. This is Patrick’s first year on the technical staff for CSR.

“I am excited to be a part of this new and developing program,” stated Patrick. “This is an amazing opportunity to work at the top level of the CSA-Rush pathway with players that have come through the youth ranks, as well as elite college players looking to compete at the highest level in their off-season.”

In addition to serving as an Assistant, Patrick works as the Director of Coaching for CSA Newark. Before joining CSA in June of 2016, Coach Patrick held roles as the Technical Director with Soccer Domain FC, as well as the Girls Varsity Soccer Head Coach at Montclair Kimberly Academy. During his time at MKA, Patrick was awarded the Essex County Coach of the Year in 2015.

Coach Patrick is highly qualified for the role holding United Soccer Coaches National and D.O.C diplomas and a USSF C License. Despite his desire to win, Coach Patrick is looking forward to the lasting impact he can have on the future of the CSR program.

“Of course, the goal is to win,” said Patrick. “However, the development of the players, team, and program, as a whole, are key in setting the foundation for future success for all involved.”

In England, Coach Patrick’s playing experience includes time with Great Britain Colleges U-19, and following his career, Patrick was awarded a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science from Leeds Metropolitan University. In addition to working with CSA Newark, Patrick is also an assistant Varsity coach at St. Benedict’s Prep.
