Carlstadt, N.J. - Cedar Stars Rush is proud to report that Justin Miller will return as General Manager for the 2021 USL League Two season. As the GM, Miller will be responsible for leading the front office and all operational aspects of the organization.
“I am honored to be a part of this club,” said Miller. “With Rush Soccer, Cedar Stars, and Capelli’s vision of providing a clear professional pathway to players, it is nice to play a direct role in making that come to life.”
Miller brings extensive administrative and operational experience to the staff, as he joins CSR from Rush Soccer where he works as the Director of Operations at the national level. In addition, Miller also served as the DOO for Penn FC of the USL Championship in 2018. With experience as the GM for CSR’s inaugural season in 2019, Miller is excited for another opportunity to serve the club in the same capacity.
“From previous experience, I know the difficulties involved with leading a front office,” explained Miller. “Therefore, my goal for this season is to keep all members of the staff engaged and ensure that everyone has an enjoyable experience, and ideally, the wins will follow from there.”
As a youth, Miller played for Colorado Rush and their academy program, prior to attending the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. As a four-year member of the soccer program, Miller graduated magna cum laude with a Finance degree and minor in Management. After college, Miller re-joined Colorado Rush as General Manager for two years before accepting his current position as DOO for Rush. Furthermore, Miller also holds his USSF C coaching license.
